Sad Words

As the tidings come to an end, the wind visits a third time
And horsetails bask in light that grazes my drowzy eyes

If I walk alone down the path where a brook flows
Memories of my childish hands will softly blur

All is as it was then, everything will stop time

This unaddressed letter carries my thoughts in written form

The hairpin I lost in those days peeks into my face
I cry when I undo my waist-long white hair

All is as it was then, time will be stopped
All is as it was then, the seasons change

This unaddressed letter carries my thoughts in written form

This undelivered letter carries my thoughts in written form

Notes:
The 文 of the title doesn't necessarily mean 'words' per se; it's about literature in general and can refer to the text as a whole, the writing style, the sentences, the words... Also, 悲文 doesn't seem to be a word in Japanese. But in Chinese it is, and apparently means "sad text."
